Sales Floor Supervisor - Depot: Greater Manchester. Reporting to Floor Manager.

United Wholesale Grocers Limited was founded in 1977 by Mr. Mohammed Ramzan. The company has over 200 employees with a turnover in excess of £220 million. We have 3 branches, 2 in Glasgow and 1 at Gateshead in the North East of England and we are about to open a new branch in the Greater Manchester area. We are primarily a Cash & Carry Wholesale business with a wide product portfolio consisting of Beers, Wines, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Confectionery, Crisps and Snacks, Household and Grocery.
Responsibilities
* Supervising the sales floor area and the team members
* Organising weekly shift rotas
* Ensuring stock availability
* Implementation of best in class merchandising
* High standard of housekeeping
* Excellence in customer service
* Supporting other departments as required
Skills Required
* Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
* Great with customers and aware of their needs, while being polite and friendly at all times
* Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team to guide them
* Good time management as you will be working at speed
* Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
* Able to work in a high-volume, sometimes physically challenging role
* Able to work quickly and to deadlines
* Confident working alongside the depot management team
* Experienced in the use of MS Word, and Excel are preferred
