Job Title: Part-Time Finance and Administration Assistant
Location: Heath Farm College, Maidstone, ME16 0ER
Salary: £19,500 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time plus 2 weeks
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and organised Finance and Administration Assistant to join our team. In this varied role, you will support with day-to-day administration and finance functions. You’ll be the go-to person for a range of tasks, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly across the college.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with college admin tasks and maintain accurate records
* Support the front desk with reception duties and visitor management
* Produce, format and distribute documents and correspondence
* Handle filing, photocopying, scanning and data entry
* Support meetings with minute-taking when required
* Assist with basic finance functions under the guidance of the Business Manager
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Flexible, calm under pressure and professional at all times
* Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
