A leading student accommodation provider is looking for a confident Resident Advisor to join their team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a vibrant student community while gaining valuable front‑of‑house experience. Start: ASAP Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Contract: Temporary, 3 months Pay: £12.22 per hour What you’ll be doing As the first point of contact for residents, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment. Your day-to-day work will include: Delivering excellent customer service in person, over email, and by phone Handling queries and helping residents find the right solutions Supporting the smooth running of the front desk and wider site Ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through the doorWhat we’re looking for You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: Previous front-of-house or reception experience Strong customer service skills in a people-focused environment Confident IT skills, especially Microsoft Office The ability to handle queries calmly and professionally Clear, confident communication — written and verbal Great organisation and time management A proactive, self-motivated approach A friendly, approachable manner and strong interpersonal skills
