Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our team based at Queen’s Hospital in Romford.
Responsibilities
* Clinical ward-based duties, including assessment of patient’s own drugs and drug history taking.
* Inpatient, out‑patient & controlled drug dispensing.
* Discharge counselling.
* Carry out routine pharmaceutical duties in a professional manner and provide a high quality, patient orientated service, both in dispensaries and on the wards.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
* Newly qualified pharmacy technicians or pharmacy technicians about to qualify are considered.
* Experience of working in a UK hospital.
* Hard working, accurate, and patient focused.
