Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Clinical Pharmacy Technician – Neurosciences, OMFS, Spinal
Band 5 • 37 hours per week • Maternity leave cover 8 months fixed term
Does the opportunity to help develop a new clinical pharmacy service appeal to you? We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated registered Pharmacy Technician to become an integral member of the neurosciences pharmacy team working as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician. You will work closely with the neurosciences clinical pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high quality, patient-focussed pharmaceutical care to patients within the INS. You will be involved in obtaining and documenting medication histories, facilitating and streamlining the discharge process and liaising with GP’s, community pharmacists and the primary care team.
Requirements
* Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Accredited dispensary checking technician qualification (PDCT)
* Significant post-qualification experience
* Excellent communication skills
Training will be provided to the successful applicant. The hours will be worked Monday to Friday with participation in weekend and public holiday rotas.
