Our client is a well‑established electronics manufacturer and is looking for a Production Assembler to support board‑level assembly and box build activities.
Position Details
- 8‑12 week temporary assignment with an opportunity to go permanent
- £13.50‑£14.00 per hour
- Monday‑Thursday 7:30 am‑4:00 pm; Friday 7:30 am‑1:00 pm (37‑hour week)
- Location: Waterlooville
Job Description
- PCBA assembly including SMT and PTH soldering
- Cable assembly using crimp tools
- Electro‑mechanical assembly
- Working from BOMs and technical drawings to meet required standards
- PCBA rework
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience of IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards
- Competent in PTH/SMT soldering to at least IPC 610 Class 2
- Strong component recognition skills
- Experience working with fine‑pitch components under a microscope
- Able to manage and prioritise workload effectively
- Inspection experience is an advantage but not essential
