Marketing / Bids Manager
Role Overview
A Marketing / Bids Manager is responsible for supporting us in winning new business through high-quality bid submissions, while also driving marketing and brand activity to support growth. The role sits between business development, marketing, and bid delivery, ensuring a consistent and compelling company message across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Bids & Tender Management
* Lead the end-to-end bid process (PQQs, ITTs, proposals)
* Assess opportunities and support bid/no-bid decisions
* Plan and manage bid programmes, ensuring deadlines are met
* Write, edit, and review high-quality, compliant submissions
* Coordinate input from technical teams, directors, and finance
* Ensure all bids are compelling, accurate, and aligned to client requirements
* Maintain and develop a bid library (case studies, templates, CVs etc)
* Carry out post-bid reviews and continuous improvement
Marketing & Business Development
1. Support delivery of the overall marketing strategy and growth plan
2. Manage and lead on the design of company collateral (brochures, case studies, presentations)
3. Oversee website, social media, and digital campaigns
4. Coordinate PR, events, and industry engagement
