Barker Munro Recruitment is working with a respected insurance business seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to join their established team in Orpington. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial or corporate broking experience—or an insurer background—who wants long term career progression within a supportive, high performing environment.
Responsibilities
* Support Account Executives with renewals and new business
* Negotiate terms with insurers and produce client documentation
* Manage MTAs, queries, amendments and day‑to‑day client needs
* Attend client meetings and maintain accurate records
* Build strong relationships with clients, prospects and insurers
* Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
* Ensure compliance with FCA requirements
* Work hybrid after training (3 days in office)
