New Business Sales Manager - Commercial Insurance

Purpose of the role:
We are seeking an experienced New Business Sales Manager – Commercial Insurance to lead, develop, and grow the New Business Sales team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will support the implementation of growth plans and drive the team towards success. Collaborating with sector specialists across our Group Companies, you will leverage our unique business model and access warm leads to shape the direction of the team and make a significant business impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead, develop, and manage the new business sales team.
2. Contribute to and manage the team’s sales targets.
3. Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive growth.
4. Collaborate with marketing to enhance the company's brand.
5. Support, train, and mentor team members to foster continuous learning and high performance.
6. Produce MI reports to monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, lead generation, and average deal size.
7. Identify opportunities for income generation and growth.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
2. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance.
3. Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and team-building skills.
4. Ability to support and mentor others to improve performance.
5. Proficiency in financial analysis and economic principles related to policies and claims.
6. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
7. CII Certificate or Diploma qualifications.
