Job Description
We are looking for an experienced manager who can meet and exceed performance targets while maintaining safe, compliant and high-quality services.
This role requires strong leadership, effective communication and the ability to manage people, resources and budgets within a complex service environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership, direction, guidance and support across Soft FM Services to ensure staff work efficiently, effectively and safely.
2. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, clients, subcontractors and service users.
3. Manage, monitor and evaluate service objectives and performance targets, producing a Business Plan to meet current and future service requirements.
4. Plan, allocate and evaluate work activities for individuals, teams and self.
5. Manage and develop staff in line with relevant organisational policies and procedures.
6. Promote effective communication across all levels of the service.
7. Maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with current legislation and company policies.
8. Control resources and finances, identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Leadership experience, preferably within a hospital environment.
10. Experience of managing staff across various grades.
11. Experience of client liaison and negotiation.
12. Strong problem-solving ability.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
14. Good numeracy skills with the ability to understand and manage budgets.
15. Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
