We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Pharmacy department.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
* Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under appropriate supervision.
* Support the safe supply of medicines, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution to wards and departments.
* Monitor stock levels and expiry dates, helping maintain accurate inventory across the pharmacy and clinical areas.
* Assist with the completion of relevant records, prescription tracking, and data entry on pharmacy systems.
* Respond to basic enquiries from patients, nursing staff, or other colleagues in a professional and helpful manner.
* Support accurate and safe working practices in accordance with organisational and GPhC standards.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
* Good general education including literacy and numeracy skills.
* Experience in a customer service, healthcare, or stock-handling role.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under supervision.
