Endoscopy Nurse - Devizes
Salary: £37,043.16 per year
Permanent: Full-time 37.5 hours, or Part-time 30 hours per week.

We are looking for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. Our wards boast great nurse to patient ratios and the Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes has been rated Good by the CQC, putting it at the very top of the regulator’s quality ratings.
You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Endoscopy Team supported by our experienced Endoscopy Manager.
Shifts are scheduled in 2 week blocks and the surgical day centre operates from Monday - Friday only.
Week one: 3 days x 10.5 hr shift (07:00-18:00)
Week Two: 4 days x 10.5 hr shift (07:00-18:00)
What you’ll be doing
To provide a high quality care within the Endoscopy department; maintaining the highest standard of care and safety for patients, visitors and staff. To be competent in all aspects of clinical practice/ endoscopy techniques and procedures within the Endoscopy Department.
To provide clinical and managerial support to the Department Lead Nurse and Senior Endoscopy Nurse in the development and implementation of high quality care protocols to provide a highly effective fast track service for all Endoscopy procedures. Work towards developing and maintaining a cohesive multidisciplinary team.
What we’ll look for in you
* Registered Nurse NMC Level 1
* To be registered with the appropriate professional body
* Evidence of continual professional development to meet NMC requirements
* Post registration experience
* IV drug administration, venepuncture and cannulation are desirable
* Previous experience in Endoscopy Principles & Procedures is an advantage
