Job Description
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Corporate Lending Team, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery to Customers, Intermediaries and Sales Teams.
Working alongside our other Operations Manager, you will be managing small teams and be responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service, optimisation of processes, handling escalations, and ensuring the smooth execution of lending transactions.
You will play a critical role in improving client satisfaction, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with internal lending standards.
As a Operations Manager, we are looking for someone to:
* Oversee day-to-day operations related to corporate lending, ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
* Serve as a key point of contact for Brokers, addressing escalated issues and ensuring prompt resolution of complex or sensitive matters
* Oversee the handling of inquiries, complaints, and service requests, ensuring they are addressed promptly and accurately
* Identify areas for improvement in operational workflows, systems, and customer service processes
* Implement best practices to streamlining operations, reducing processing times, and minimizing errors
* Track and report on key performance metrics related to operational activities, including workflow management, customer and client satisfaction levels, along with operational efficiencies
* Act as a liaison between the operations team and senior management, providing updates on operational performance and any significant issues affecting service delivery
Qualifications
Essential
* Experience in financial services; operations management, customer service, or a related role
* Strong knowledge of commercial /corporate lending products and services, including loans and account management
* Experience in managing teams and improving operational workflows
* Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage escalations and complex client needs
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with both internal teams and external clients
* Knowledge of financial services/ lending compliance and regulatory requirements
* Proficiency with lending systems, CRM software, and operational tools
