The Role: Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the structural airframe components section of BUOYANCY AEROSPACE Ltd, UK.
Key Responsibilities include the following dimensions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* NC programming using Catia V5.
* Simulation of NC program using Vericut.
* Creation of routings.
* Creation of detailed process instructions.
* Support shop floor prove out of new processes.
* Design and manufacture of fixturing I.A.W. business needs.
* Identify opportunities for improvements to current manufacturing processes.
* Support all other areas of the business as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
First and foremost, you must bring outstanding problem solving skills, strong work ethics, and integrity to the table. Furthermore, we consider the following formal requirements relevant.
* 5+ years’ CATIA programming experience working on complex aerospace components.
* Proven experience designing fixturing to support various stages of manufacture.
* Experience machining various soft and hard metals predominantly Aluminium and Titanium.
* A team player focused on continuous improvement through efficiency gains.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* A clear commitment to our company values of purpose, excellence, innovation, and team culture.
Desirable:
* Vericut experience
* Experience operating/programming Mazak machine tools.
