Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, engaging English lessons across KS3–KS4
- Use a range of teaching strategies to stretch and challenge learners
- Track and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum
- Maintain excellent behaviour and strong classroom routines
- Participate in department meetings, CPD, and whole‑school initiatives
- Support students’ academic and personal development
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature
- A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of learning
- High expectations for behaviour and student achievement
- Ability to differentiate lessons effectively
- A reflective practitioner committed to professional development
- A positive team‑player with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
