Job Description
The successful candidate will be an Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) Clinical Nurse Specialist, joining the Cardiac Nurse Specialist team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children on a permanent basis. The role will complement the existing CNS team and provide support for families across the South Wales and South West Cardiac Network.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage ICC caseloads, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team.
* Provide patient and family counselling, support and education.
* Communicate complex explanations of physiology, pathophysiology and genetic factors related to congenital, acquired and inherited cardiac conditions.
* Support the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Qualifications
* RSCN or RN Child Branch accredited.
* Relevant clinical experience in paediatric cardiology and genomics.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
