Salary: Up to £55,000 (dependent on skills and experience) What you'll be doing: Daily support to the CAD user community across GCS projects. Resolving of issues directly with the user and communicating any relevant issues to internal or external stakeholders Development of new capabilities in conjunction with technical specialists team across all projects Training users in the use of CAD application for new users or for new functionality Collaboration with Software vendor to resolve issues and investigate new ways of working including testing of new software Documentation of process and user guides for use of software Transfer of CAD data from reference project to export contracts & future programmes Your skills and experiences: Essential: Proven PLM experience in a highly complex product design/ build engineering environment with CAD (Foran) and PDM (Windchill) experience in the Outfitting Information & Systems discipline Experience with using PLM related theories and disciplines, including Configuration, Product Data, Document and Product Change Management Desirable: Understanding of Naval Ships programmes Technical or degree qualified in a technology, engineering, science or IT related discipline Benefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Outfitting and Electrical Information and Systems team: The Outfitting and Electrical Information and Systems team is a part of the PLM capability Centre. As a team based across the UK we deliver capability to the GCS programme alongside working with colleagues in submarines and maritime services in the wider BAE Systems maritime group. We are also involved in developing solutions for upcoming projects looking at what software and processes could look like for our next contracts. This team gives the chance for people to gain experience of different stages of the engineering lifecycle and have an impact across multiple projects.
