Were currently seeking a Cellar Supervisor, who can coordinate and manage a successful cellar operation to ensure the smooth and efficient Hotel operation.
About you...
Minimum of 1 year managing the cellar operation in Hospitality operations
Proven track record of managing internal stocktakes and observation of external audits.
Experience using a diary management system.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
Demonstrate a high level of organisation and time management.
Excellent record keeping.
English Language Native or Bilingual proficiency.
Experience of using Birch street Purchasing system and or Ven power stock system would be advantageous.
Prior experience of rolling out a stock system would an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cellar Supervisor you will take charge and control the organisation of stocks and deliveries whilst managing budget lines for the cellar.
To ensure Food and Beverage Invoices, Delivery Notes, Requisition Notes are in compliance with Starwood Hotels procedures.
To manage the cellar budget ensuring all invoices are checked and processed correctly following company policy and to deal with any discrepancies of orders and invoices in a swift and efficient manner. Who will match F&B.
To ensure orders are based on usage, stock turnover and Cost of Sales Budgetary limits.
To be present for and oversee all internal and external stocktakes and audits.
To manage the logistics and distribution of all beverage stocks throughout the building and departments.
To ensure quantity checks are done on all Food and Beverage goods received.
You will be responsible for daily input of invoices, purchase orders and requisitions, producing management information for better decision making.
Might be required to work additional hours during period ends.
Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
It involves physical moving of heavy objects.
