Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching to pre‑registration child and adult nursing students, and post‑registration students undertaking neonatal courses.
* Provide classroom‑based teaching, simulated practice activities and fair, consistent assessment of students.
* Support the programme team and, where required, conduct assessments in students' clinical areas.
Key Qualifications
* Registration with the NMC as a child’s or adult nurse.
* Qualification in academic practice (PGCE or equivalent).
* Neonatal QIS programme qualification and significant neonatal experience.
* Experience facilitating and delivering neonatal education and training in close collaboration with clinical facilitators, clinical areas and operational delivery networks (ODNs) suitable for teaching at BSc and masters level.
