We are thrilled to be supporting our of our clients to source for an Apprenticeship Support Coach to join their team. This is a home-based position where you will support apprentices through their learning journey.
The provider pride themselves on having a strong connection to industry, with the founders of the organisation coming from senior construction and automotive roles where they saw the training that staff and apprenticeships undertook was lacking in developing real skills for industry. From this, the clients organisation was created and their mission is to build high quality and innovative solutions for businesses by putting learner experiences at the forefront of their work.
The Apprenticeship Support Coach will help learners with their progress and administration, checking in with them during their course to conduct progress reviews to ensure they are on track. The successful individual will also be available if the learner requires any additional support.
As part of the delivery team, you will be required to manage and update learner records and data through the consistent use of the e-portfolio system in the below areas.
- Attendance Visits
- Assessment Planning
- Evidence of Teaching
- Learning and Assessment
- Functional Skills Progress
- EPA Training
- Timetables
- Supporting learners with Off The Job Training.
Working closely with the Partnership Account Team, developing and maintaining relationships with employers to ensure learners progress is in line with Delivery Model.
Conduct effective exit reviews that promote up skill and personal development.
Provide IAG, as well as referring learners to other agencies, such as government agencies, learning and training providers or specialist organisations, and advocating on their behalf where necessary.
Maintain learner records through consistent use of the e-portfolio system in line with GDPR regulations.
Organising additional support with Tutors as appropriate
Key contact for learners about changes within the teaching schedules
Promote and discuss Apprentice of the month.
Promote and discuss the ‘Theme of the Month’
Raise learner awareness and promote key Government Strategies for Safeguarding and the Prevent Duty. Raising concerns with the Designated Safeguarding Officer and in accordance with Safeguarding and Prevent Policy.
Promote inclusive learning opportunities and celebrate diversity so that all learners have the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship and are provided with sufficient information, advice and guidance to ensure that they receive the right level of support
Flexing priorities between enrolments and reviews as per business demand
Ensure the full embedding of all Equal Opportunities policies and Health & Safety requirements including Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners with whom you come into contact.
