Overview
Including our centre for digital media, our world class music and events hub and our new esports venue, incorporating cutting edge XR/virtual production technologies. We are now recruiting for a Senior Learning Support Assistant (Academic). This role works in partnership with a second Senior LSA. Although most of the specifications will be shared by both senior LSAs, this role will focus on: academic and in-class support offered by the team including (but not limited to) undertaking observations, developing best practise, liaising with tutors, cover timetables and liaising with the EHCP Team.
Responsibilities
* Deputise for LSA Coordinator duties on a daily basis, and sharing of line management responsibilities
* Provide flexible in-class and/or cover support as requested by High Needs and LSA Coordinator
* Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the post
* Have a passion and interest for working with SEN learners
* Have to be able to satisfy an enhanced DBS check (paid for by the company)
