Position: Legal Counsel
Location: Cambridgeshire (hybrid working, 2 days/week office-based)
Salary guide: up to £65,000 FTE + Bonus + Benefits
Role Type: Permanent | Part-time (4 days per week)

We’re exclusively partnered with a purpose-led and highly respected organisation to appoint a Legal Counsel to join their established and collaborative in-house legal team.
The Opportunity
As part of a strong and supportive In-House Legal team, you will play a key role in advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts spanning across construction, IT, energy, outsourcing, consultancy, and IP/R&D agreements. This role is varied and perfect for someone who enjoys hands on commercial legal work, thrives on collaboration, and delivers practical, business first advice.
The Work:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts (NEC4, IT, energy, outsourcing, consultancy, and more)
* Advising on contract risk, procurement issues, and regulatory compliance
* Supporting business units with practical legal guidance on day-to-day matters
* Collaborating with the wider legal team to deliver consistent, solution-oriented service
* Contributing to the development of internal legal processes and templates
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from:
* Qualified Solicitors (England & Wales) at all levels including recently qualified SQE candidates
* Experience in a broad range of commercial agreements ideally with exposure in the likes of NDA's, T&C's, constructions contracts, IT agreements, and procurement.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with non-legal colleagues
* Commercial acumen and the ability to deliver pragmatic, risk-aware legal advice
* Based within commuting distance of Cambridgeshire and open to hybrid working (c.2 days in-office)
