The school are looking for an ECT to join their KS2 team from September 2026. You will be taking on all teaching duties within a Year 4 class on a full-time basis. The school are looking for someone who can commit to a 1-year contract in the first instance, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right teacher. In the meantime, whilst you are completing your training or waiting for your QTS to be awarded, we can also offer Teaching Assistant opportunities, allowing you to gain experience across different schools and find the right long-term fit ahead of September 2026. To be considered for this role, you will: Have recent experience teaching in a primary school setting Demonstrate strong classroom management skills Have a positive, proactive, can-do attitude Be confident delivering and marking work Be able to build strong rapport with colleagues and pupils Have excellent organisation and time management skills Have knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards obtaining QTS Be able to provide 2 years of references covering education/employment, including placements Have a genuine passion for working with children Be flexible and adaptable to working across a variety of schools Driving is desirable but not essential Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
