About The Role
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for our potential prospects first impression of ADP and will act as a trusted advisor who will help and support the prospective buyer through commonly held areas of complexity.
Key Responsibilities
* Encourage the prospective buyer to attend both in‑person events and webinars.
* Set up and host conference calls with leads and provide tailored information based on their needs.
* Establish opportunities for accounts to progress to closed‑won deals.
* Generate new business opportunities across key markets for our HCM solutions and maintain our position as a global HCM provider.
* Research prospect accounts, provide insight and learning for prospects through high‑level conversations, warm lead follow‑ups, social media and marketing collateral.
* Promote ADP services and profile existing/emerging companies to identify business objectives and critical issues.
* Profile and desk‑research potential clients, ensuring all key details are mapped and the account structure is understood.
* Utilise specialist research tools to identify critical business issues within targeted accounts and monitor wider market trends.
* Use social media platforms to assess and follow topics within the HCM marketplace and promote ADP as an HCM thought leader.
* Build close business relationships with selected accounts to position ADP as a trusted expert when the target is ready to review or has a critical need.
* Work closely with field sales on local campaigns or one‑off events such as webinars.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date information in Salesforce.com for all activities.
* Participate in regular one‑to‑ones with the SDR Team Leader to give/receive feedback and monitor performance.
* Participate in company training sessions and team days.
* Take ownership and responsibility of individual tasks and targets to ensure overall team success.
