As an Assistant Cook with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the kitchen, playing a key role in supporting our catering operation.
You will assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
The Role
* Work as part of a motivated and passionate kitchen team
* Support food preparation and cooking to ensure meals are delivered to a high standard
* Assist the department by covering key responsibilities in the absence of the line manager
* Deliver the highest standard of customer care through quality food and service
* Maintain a high standard of general hygiene, ensuring the kitchen and service areas remain clean and organised
* Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe working environment
* Work to deadlines, ensuring prompt and accurate service of meals
About You
* Enthusiastic and positive approach to work
* Catering or kitchen experience
* Good understanding of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices
* Able to follow instructions confidently, while also using initiative when needed
* Committed to putting the customer first and ensuring an exceptional dining experience
* A determined team player who works well with others in a fast-paced environment
