About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their service, installation, and maintenance team. You will deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating and hot water systems. This is a varied role covering gas, oil, plumbing, ventilation, and wider plantroom maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities
Planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating and hot water boilers
Servicing and maintenance of package burners
Testing and purging of gas installation pipework
Maintenance of associated systems including pumps, valves, fans, and controls
Domestic and commercial boiler and plant room installations
Installation using soldered, press-fit, and screwed steel pipework systems
Small-scale installation wiring and electrical fault finding
Supporting wider plantroom maintenance including plumbing and ventilation works
Essential Requirements
Full clean UK driving licence
Enhanced DBS check
Gas qualifications (minimum required):
Domestic: CCN1, CENWAT, CKHB1, DAH1, HTR1
Commercial: COCDN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, ICPN1, HTR1, TPCP1, CONGLP1PD (LPG Changeover)
City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing (preferred minimum)
Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification
Willingness to travel when required
Willingness to stay away from home (with notice)
Salary / Package
45-50k + OT (55-60k)
