Senior Department Administrator – Certification Lead
As a Senior Department Administrator – Certification Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing and coordinating job‑out certification and inspection activities.
* Preparing complete certification packages for equipment prior to load‑out.
* Ensuring all asset‑related information is accurately recorded and appropriately stored.
* Compiling certification packages in line with predetermined company standards.
* Coordinating with QC/Certification Engineers and Chargehands to identify equipment requiring recertification to meet job duration or parameters.
* Liaising with Lifting Engineers to highlight equipment requiring lifting inspections.
* Providing timely copies of relevant lift certification to the logistics department ahead of load‑out.
* Completing or supporting completion of client documentation related to load‑out requirements.
* Ensuring the location of all equipment is known prior to inspection visits.
* Notifying Workshop Leads of inspection schedules and confirming availability of support personnel.
* Accompanying Inspectors during all yard and workshop inspections and release activities.
* Communicating inspection concerns or non‑conformances promptly to management.
* Scanning completed certification data books and uploading them to job‑specific certification folders upon job completion.
* Ensuring hard copies of certification data books are correctly placed with the load‑out unit, with locations logged on pre‑dispatch forms.
* Filing or transferring certification documentation to certification support teams for processing.
* Participating in the on‑call rota as required.
* Contributing to additional activities as needed to fully exercise professional capabilities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Bring relevant industry experience in a certification or quality‑related role.
* Demonstrate awareness of certification standards and their practical application.
* Show understanding of equipment legislation and applicable industry standards.
* Be competent in Microsoft Office applications.
* Work effectively with minimal day‑to‑day supervision.
* Anticipate future requirements and plan proactively.
* Exhibit flexibility and adaptability across a broad range of responsibilities.
* Apply strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
QHSE Responsibilities
* Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures, as defined in Baker Hughes policies, are adhered to at all times.
* Perform all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes safety and environmental procedures.
* Ensure all incidents and accidents are immediately reported and that all required documentation is completed.
