The Role As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will be the driving force behind the site's safety culture. You won't just be ticking boxes; you will be coaching teams, identifying risks before they become incidents, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance across a busy distribution hub.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and site audits.
Leading accident investigations and implementing robust corrective actions.
Delivering engaging H&S training and inductions to staff at all levels.
Maintaining and updating the ISO-aligned management systems.
Acting as the subject matter expert for warehouse safety, MHE (Material Handling Equipment), and fire safety.
The Candidate The ideal candidate will be a "people person" who can influence change and build rapport with warehouse operatives and senior management alike.
What we are looking for:
Experience: Proven track record in a Health & Safety role
Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent.
Location: You must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Worcester.
