The field service engineer will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout the UK. The role involves mechanical and basic 3-phase electrical service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.
Overview
Our client is a leading supplier of commercial vehicle wash systems. Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning
* Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repair work
* Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks
* Ensure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken and completed are recorded on computer system
Candidate requirements
* You will be a competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair skills
* Ideally you will have recognised qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
* Previous work experience with vehicle wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given
* You will be computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must be comfortable with working outdoors
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 45 Hours
