Intellectual Property Solicitor – Senior Associate – Oxford Up to 90,000 + Benefits
A well-established, Legal 500-ranked law firm with a thriving Corporate & Commercial team is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Solicitor to join their Oxford office.
This is a strategic growth hire – the firm is currently turning away IP work and is ready to invest in building out a dedicated IP offering. You’ll have the chance to lead and shape a new service line, working alongside respected lawyers and a strong client base.
Responsibilities
Handle a broad range of IP matters, including:
Trade mark registration, portfolio management, and enforcement.
Copyright advice, licensing, and infringement disputes.
Design rights and protection strategies.
IP commercialisation – licensing, franchising, joint ventures, and R&D agreements.
IP aspects of corporate transactions and M&A.
Domain name disputes and online brand protection.
Cease and desist actions and litigation support.

Requirements
Qualified solicitor with 7 Years PQE in IP law (contentious and/or non-contentious)
Able to bring a client following or strong referral network
Entrepreneurial, strategic, and ready to take ownership of a new offering
