Overview
We're looking for a Graduate Data Analyst to join our Transportation team. You will be working within a structured graduate development programme that provides the experiences and tools needed for progression within your chosen career. Starting salary is £30,000 per annum, with a pathway to a permanent, full‑time assistant level role after the 2‑year programme (salary potential circa £38k). The starting date is September 2026. Location: Based in a Kier Office, flexible with location. This role is studying graduate or recently graduated (within the past three years) candidates with a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science/IT, Business Analytics or a related field. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Day-–to-–day responsibilities
* Directly contribute to high‑quality, competitive, and sustainable tender submissions through identification, collection, analysis, and reporting on a variety of client datasets provided as part of tender documentation.
* Analyse internal data from existing contracts and previous tender submissions to produce benchmarking databases to enable market testing of tender submissions.
* Directly support the production of successful tender Supply Chain Strategies; supporting Senior Estimators in the identification and engagement with Supply Chain Partners on Tender Submissions.
* Support the improvement of all aspects of the estimating function's current methodology and processes.
