Job Summary
The Senior Engineering Manager will guide, drive, and lead technical excellence within the teams to enable market-leading software engineering standards for the development and delivery of innovative products enabling iconic global recall to Equiniti. Responsible for meeting allocated technical and group objectives. Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. Establishes milestones and has a significant role in the assignment of tasks and responsibilities.

* Line Management responsibility for Engineering Managers and Engineers
* Develop and maintain software development processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software products
* Lead and promote engineering excellence and quality through appropriate use of analysis tools, control gates and peer reviews
* Drive optimisation of the engineering lifecycle through a systematic knowledge management and continuous learning process
* Build a strong talent pipeline through hiring, internal movements, succession planning, talent reviews etc.
* Lead and promote the evaluation of emerging technologies, models, methods etc. to enable competitive differentiation and strengthening of existing product technology
* Responsible for articulating the technical roadmap, the overall vitality of the product, architecture overview documentation and leading the validation of our platforms in the product pipeline
* Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and high performing, monitoring key metrics and KPIs, identifying and addressing issues, and identifying opportunities to optimise performance and enhance the customer experience
