Reporting into the Health & Wellbeing Lead, the Resource planner is responsible for the creation of the site resource plan, scheduling up to 1000 hours of homecare services per week. The Resource planner is pivotal to understanding our clients' needs and ensuring the correct level of resource is allocated to them. Our services range from Health & Wellbeing support, housekeeping, personal care and Companionship. The Resource Planner will plan and schedule all activities aligned to the latest resource plan and ensure the delivery of balanced service levels across the operation both site and field.
This position will be based out of our village in Maidstone, with regular travel to the Audley sites in order to build relationships with our team members and clients.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
5. The resource planner is responsible for scheduling up to 1000 hours of care per week
6. Owns the planning and scheduling of all activities aligned to the latest resource plans
7. Manages the administration of relevant resourcing systems in line with operational requirements
8. Works closely with the Health & Wellbeing Manager attending relevant meetings to understand the direction for the day/weeks across the sites
9. Plans accurate people schedules in the appropriate IT system to reflect the best possible outcome for Owners and Customers
10. Ensures that variance to schedules is captured and appropriate actions taken
11. Responsible for ensuring resource processes are followed at site level collating feedback for review
12. Produces timely MI in line with business requests - collect, collate, analyse and present sometimes complex information in line with requirements, policies and procedures.
13. Delivers training and upskill to site and field teams to maximise understanding of resource planning
14. Inputs, manages and tracks absences & other processes aligned to Audley HR Policies and provides feedback
15. Maintains and develops governance processes across the operation
16. Communicates views of performance at a senior level
17. Maximises insight to highlight risks and opportunities and take action where appropriate to maintain service levels. Identifies operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate
18. To participate in the on call rota
Skills, knowledge and qualifications
19. A sound analytical background is essential, with prior experience of working with resource planning tools
20. Be an expert/advanced level excel user, with proficient skills in word
21. Ability to work well within a team essential
22. Numerate with good accuracy and attention to detail
23. Ability to communicate effectively with differing stakeholders
24. Ability to demonstrate flexibility in their approach
25. Good written, verbal communication & presentation skills
26. Strong reasoning and negotiating skills
27. Good problem solving and decision-making skills
28. Understanding of Safeguarding, health and safety and data protection laws to protect customers
29. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, prioritising workloads
30. Delivers results and customer focused
31. Demonstrates an understanding of how the role contributes to achieving the business strategy
32. Act as a role model through impeccable customer, owner and team member’s service
