Senior claims analyst - global broker/non call centre

We are seeking a talent individual to join our claims teams in Norwich. These will be hybrid roles, with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Please note, these are not call centre roles and are technical in nature, working on large, complex, global insurance contracts, involving multiple insurers and high value insurance placements.

We will rely on you to:

1. Receive, handle and manage new claim notification, subsequent updates and collection requests.
2. Negotiate with Insurers/suppliers to achieve the most beneficial, cost-effective settlement for Clients
3. Review and interpret policy wordings to obtain the best claims settlements for Clients
4. Meet agreed standards of accuracy, service, work volumes, and other performance targets in line with bespoke Client SLA’s.
5. Handle and case manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issues.

What you need to have:

6. Demonstrable claims handling/insurance experience, with either an Insurer or Broker
7. Strong attention to detail with a methodical and conscientious approach.
8. Planning and organisational skills.
9. Quick to take on-board new information which is technical in nature.
10. Analytically minded with the ability to resolve complex queries.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Good numeracy skills.
13. Able to promote continuous improvement and respond positively to change.
14. Good standard of education.

15. Previous training, coaching and mentoring experience together with prior experience of operating at a senior level
16. CII qualifications or a willingness to study for and obtain
