At Connect Plus Services, we manage and maintain one of the most complex and heavily used road networks in Europe — the M25. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to play a key role in keeping the network safe, operational, and resilient for millions of users every day.
What you'll be doing

* Act as Bronze Command on the network and support inspection regimes, ensuring operational excellence across all maintenance and response activities.
* Deliver daily briefings and end‑of‑shift debriefs, ensuring operatives understand risks and control measures and continuously capture lessons learned.
* Support the development and implementation of RAMS and operational procedures, maintaining consistency and compliance.
* Manage plant, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring checks, defect reporting, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
* Work closely with internal teams (NTOC, asset teams, health and safety, training) and external stakeholders (National Highways, emergency services, supply chain partners).
Who we're looking for
* Confident and experienced operational leader with a strong background in highways maintenance or a similar environment.
* Proven experience managing teams in a live operational setting, driving performance while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
* Relevant CSCS qualification along with SMSTS or SSSTS.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities across a busy and complex network.
* Experience of incident management and working within a regulated or safety‑critical environment.
Benefits

* 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata).
* Family‑friendly policies which include 28 weeks full pay for maternity/adoption leave and four weeks full pay for paternity/partner leave.
* Pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, recognition schemes and much more.
