This is a full-time, on site position, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 04:00 PM. As an Company Legal Administrator, you will support the team with day-to-day administration tasks, putting your knowledge of property law to good use! This role is ideal for someone who is later in their career, looking for a non-demanding, but task driven role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, review, and manage completion statements related to property transactions.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the property management team.
* Communicate effectively and professionally in person, by telephone, and via email with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
* Maintain and organise documentation, records, and files accurately.
* Use Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiently to prepare reports, letters, and presentations.
* Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and reconciling accounts.
* Use Sage accounting software for routine financial entries and record-keeping (prior experience beneficial, but not mandatory).
* Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits as required.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
* Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
* Support other ad hoc administrative and clerical duties within the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a legal secretary or administrator within property management.
* Experience with completion statements and related property legal documentation.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills - confident engaging with clients and colleagues in person, over the phone, and via email.
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
* Experience handling bookkeeping-related responsibilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge or practical experience using Sage accounting software.
* Previous exposure to property law or conveyancing administration.
* Basic knowledge of property management processes and terminology.
