Acute medicine has drastically expanded over the past few years with our move into the 2-storey rainbow unit which hosts a specialised level 1 facility, in the 12 months we have also expanded AMU and created an additional 22 patient spaces in a new assessment area.

If you are an experienced band 3 or a band 2 care support worker looking to develop further then this is the role for you. To be eligible for this position you must already have your level 3 or be currently studying. Clinical skills training will be provided.

Please note you will be required to work across all areas of acute medicine and be able to work days/ nights and weekends.

Main duties of the job

As a higher clinical support worker you will be responsible for not only maintaining patients needs including hygiene, toileting and nutrition but also assisting the nursing team and medical team with extended roles.

You will also play a key role in assessing, treating and transferring patients to give them a high standard of care and a good hospital experience.

Working for our organisation

At the Dudley Group our patients and staff are at the heart of all that we do and that is to provide a world class service that aligns with our vision of “excellent health care, improved health for all”. We are seeking to recruit staff who share our vision and values of making Dudley Group an incredible workplace.

We are committed to becoming a diverse and an inclusive employer and where people feel sense of belonging. Seeking to expand diversity within our teams, we positively encourage applications from under-represented groups such as ethnically diverse, disabled and LGBTQ+ groups.
