TheCommunity Cardiology Specialist Service provides focused cardiovascular clinicsfor heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, rhythm analysis and openaccess echocardiography.
The serviceprovides a MDT approach in the diagnosis and management of various cardiology diagnoses.

Salary: Range 3£24,100 (pay award pending) per annum pro rata
A wonderful opportunity has a risen for a Health Care Assistant to join the Community Cardiology Service, running out of WeelsbyView Health Centre, Grimsby.
You will be responsible for fitting and removingvarious cardiac monitors, performingElectrocardiograms, (ECGs), phlebotomy, taking measurements such asblood pressure height and weight, and fitting of sleep apnoea monitors. You will work autonomously with your ownclinic lists with direct hands on patient care.You will work closely with the Senior Cardiographer and have supportfrom the other team members.
You must hold NVQ Level 3 in Health andSocial Care, and have Literacy & Numeracy Level 2 or related GCSEs. You must have proven experience in a healthrelated environment including phlebotomy, ECG and other duties such as BPmeasurement, height & weight measurement etc. To be considered for this post the candidateshould be willing to work towards the SCST Certificate in Electrocardiographyat some stage in the future. Experienceof SystmOne would be an advantage.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Numeracy and Literacy Level 2
* Basic Life Support
* SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography (willingness to work towards)
Experience
* Experience of fitting & removing a variety of cardiac monitors (ambulatory BP, ECG, Holter and cardiac event monitors)
* Experience of managing patients with cardiac conditions within a healthcare setting
* Experience of performing 12-lead ECGs
* Experience of phlebotomy
* Experience of using SystmOne
Skills & Knowledge
* Knowledge of Cardiac diagnostic procedures
* Effective and proven computer skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
* An awareness of own competencies and willingness to seek guidance where needed
