Workshop Controller vacancy in Derby
1. Basic: £45,000 – £50,000
2. OTE: £55,000+ (Overtime Paid at Time and a Half)
3. 45 hours per week – Flexible working pattern
We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy main dealer in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong ex-Technician or Diagnostic Technician looking to step into or further develop within a leadership role, overseeing workshop operations and ensuring the smooth running of the branch.

What you’ll be doing:
9. Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations
10. Managing and delegating work to technicians effectively
11. Ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are met
12. Supporting front-of-house where required with customer interaction
13. Maintaining high standards of work and compliance
What we’re looking for:
14. Previous experience as a Technician or Diagnostic Technician
15. Strong main dealer background
16. Experience managing or leading technicians
17. Confident in a customer-facing (FOH) environment
18. Strong organisational and leadership skills
