Pay: £12.71-£13.57 per hourJob Description:Production OperativeOur client based in Hereford is looking for food production operatives to join their team. No experience is necessary, full training is provided on commencement of the assignment.About the role:As a food production operative youll be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. So youll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.Our clients site operates across two factories:Factory 1 is responsible for processing, whole bird production & portioningFactory 2 is responsible for portioning & added valueDuties Include:Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatchLabelling and grading of productsManual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kgWhat you need to be successful:Good Level of English and basic numeracy skillsThe ability to work well within a team and communicate effectivelyGood attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasksExperience within a production/ manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be providedAbout the Client :Our Client is one of the Uks leading food businesses, supplying chicken & turkey to the countrys major supermarkets and well known restaurants.Our Client own and manage their entire supply chain, from farms to factory and all the way to the customer door meaning they have careers that cover a whole range of functions.
