Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a fantastic business within the Retail industry, actively recruiting for a Technical Service Advisor based in Langley, Berkshire.

Technical Service Advisor - Responsibilities
* Answer phone and email queries from customers regarding technical & installation issues on all products.
* Ask questions about plumbing and installation to identify if issues are related to our product or an installation failure.
* Provide advice about products, how they work, and troubleshoot problems.
* Send warranty replacement items and report faults to the supplier/factory.
* Identify spare parts needed instead of sending a whole new item when customers have a problem.
* Dispatch goods to customers via Sage 200 system.
* This role involves both customer service and technical advice.
Requirements
* Knowledge of plumbing and related products is desirable.
* Ability to respond quickly to emails and phone calls.
* Remain calm when dealing with upset customers and defuse tense situations.
* Ask questions to clarify issues when customers cannot explain clearly, sometimes with third-hand details.
* Willingness to assist with any customer inquiries and learn about our products to become better informed.
