We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. * Sat: Weekend shifts
* Sun: Weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and serving high-quality drinks and food that delight our customers
* Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area
* Processing payments via cash and credit cards
* Being an enthusiastic team player and effective communicator
* Managing stock of mugs and plates
* Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, and food presentation techniques
* Checking and reporting on brewing equipment maintenance needs
* Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
* Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
* Following Health & Safety regulations
Ideal Candidate
* Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
* Previous experience in customer service
* Motivated and committed to excellence
* Proactive and able to make customer-focused decisions
* Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Reliable with strong timekeeping
