Merchandiser : Retail – The Job Outline
* Raise PO’s in timely manner for both Seasonal and Never Out of Stock lines.
* Accurate forward‑forecasting of intake and OTB to deliver sales & margin targets, highlighting any potential risk or opportunities
* Ensure timely production planning to secure capacity and achieve on‑time deliveries
* In‑season trading: analysing performance, highlighting best/worst sellers & proposing action
* Maintain WSSI, stock integrity, critical paths and internal documentation
* Manage supplier relationships and ensuring goods arrive on time and in full
* Oversee branch distribution planning with the Retail team
* Check and process supplier invoices & packing lists
* Support senior management with process improvement initiatives
* Monitoring competitor activity to influence strategy and decision‑making
Merchandiser : Retail – Required Skills & Experience
* At least 3 years’ experience as a Junior Merchandiser/ or Merchandiser in a retail branded business
* Commercial awareness and a proactive, results‑driven approach
* Strong intermediate IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills
* High attention to detail, numeracy and the ability to work using your own initiative
* Decisive, influential and able to build strong relationships all levels, internal & external.
* Team player with a flexible, positive approach.
* Ability to travel if required
