Location: Tarleton, Lancashire | Pay: £14.50/hr + £60 sleep-in | Shifts: 2 on / 4 off

About The Role
Your role:
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in leading practice on shift. You will mentor and support new team members, oversee day-to-day operations, and act as the key point of contact for reporting to higher management. You'll conduct staff supervisions, provide progress updates, and raise any concerns related to team or young person dynamics, advising when management intervention may be needed. You will act as a Key Worker where necessary, taking primary responsibility for the care and development of a designated young person.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the shift and ensuring high standards of care and conduct at all times.
* Supporting care planning, assessments, and contributing to care reviews.
* Organising and participating in educational, social, and recreational activities, including outings and holidays.
* Liaising with external professionals and agencies alongside senior management.
* Ensuring accurate and detailed record-keeping, including delegating written tasks and signing them off as Team Leader.
* Promoting best practices in line with the home's Statement of Purpose (SOP) and company policies.

Desired Criteria
* •Full UK Manual Driving Licence - preferred
Required Criteria
* •NVQ Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
* •2 years’ experience supporting young people in a children’s residential setting
