Support Worker - Female (Bank/Casual) at Community Integrated Care
We are seeking a female Support Worker to join our casual/relief team in Drumoyne, Glasgow. This is a flexible, customer-led role supporting two individuals who share a home in the Govan area. Both individuals are non-verbal but communicate by other methods. The role requires working across a variety of shifts including some weekends and sleepovers.
Responsibilities
* Support with daily activities including medication administration, cooking, and personal care
* Assist with moving, positioning, and attending hospital appointments
* Maintain the homes of people supported and manage finances where applicable
* Spend meaningful time with the people supported, helping them live the life they choose
* Provide 24-hour support flexibility according to needs
Requirements & Eligibility
* Manual UK Driving Licence is preferred due to service activities
* As this role involves supporting specific individuals, a female colleague is required for this position as a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010
