An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the South West London area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers. This is one of the countrys leading mental health treatment centres. They provide fast access to high quality treatment for lots of different conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders. To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.
Responsibilities
* Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all patient care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date
* Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care
* Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required
* Support and supervise new or junior staff
Qualifications & experience
* Qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin
* Experience acquired through professional training in a related environment
* Organises and prioritises own workload within established procedures
* Problem solving based on knowledge, skills and experience, adaptable to clinical needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Must undertake Continuing Professional Development
Salary & benefits
The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP42,392 : GBP44,953 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role working 38.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work you will receive the following generous benefits:
