Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

A growing electronics manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent is looking to recruit two Test Engineers to join its expanding production and engineering team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong electronic fault-finding skills, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of electronic assemblies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing and validating electronic products to ensure they meet required performance and quality standards.
You will play a key role in identifying faults at component level, supporting production, and working closely with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose faults down to component level on electronic assemblies
* Carry out testing and troubleshooting of products during production
* Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
* Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators
* Program electronic devices using PC-based tools
* Maintain accurate test records and documentation
* Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the test process
What We're Looking For
* HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering (or relevant experience)
* Strong component-level fault-finding skills
* Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
* Experience using electronic test equipment

* Good PC skills, including use of test or programming software
* Background in a manufacturing or production test environment
Desirable Experience
* Experience working with RF electronics
