Functional Skills Tutor | Hartlepool (TS26) We are seeking a motivated and supportive Functional Skills Tutor to work with learners in the Hartlepool area. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students build confidence and develop essential English and Maths skills in a rewarding educational setting. What You’ll Be Doing Planning, delivering, and adapting Functional Skills sessions Supporting learners through 1:1 and small group tuition Tailoring lessons and resources to suit individual learning needs Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and progression Creating a positive and structured learning environment What We’re Looking For Experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Maths Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning abilities Patient, reliable, and supportive approach DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply Role Information Location: TS26, Hartlepool Working Days: Monday to Friday Hours: Flexible / Part-time Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rates available If you’re passionate about helping learners succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
