Your Mission: As Senior Product & Process Development Technologist, you’ll be the bridge between the kitchen and the factory floor. Working primarily on our Premier Foods account, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept to launch. From crafting recipes and running factory trials to managing stakeholder expectations, you’ll thrive in a role where no two weeks are the same. Around two-thirds of your time will be process-focused, with the rest spent on creative kitchen concepting. What you’ll do: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from finance to procurement to factory operators Lead factory trials, product launches and packaging optimisation Own the technical detail: specs, costings, quality benchmarks Translate briefs into scalable, manufacturable products Troubleshoot challenges with a problem-solving mindset Work closely with external Stakeholders who know our factory like the back of their hand, stakeholder management skills are key to be successful in this role What You’ll Bring: 3 years in NPD and/or process development in food manufacturing Experience seeing products through the Stage Gate process A balance of creativity, technical rigour and a passion for food A good knowledge of the relationships between consumer insights, product, process, packaging equipment and packaging material Confident using systems like Hamilton Grant, Qadex and D365? Even better You don’t need to be a Micro modelling or thermal processing whizz, but working knowledge is a bonus Why Mizkan?
