Audley Care is seeking a Care Assistant to provide homecare services to customers, including personal care, housekeeping, and companionship. The successful candidate will maintain Audleys objective of delivering high-quality, compassionate care that is compliant with CQC requirements.
What will I do?
* Visit village and community customers daily, following their personal care plan, which may include providing personal care, supporting day-to-day tasks, and assisting with medication and continence care.
* Perform house duties, such as cooking, laundry, and vacuuming, and support customers with medical appointments and hospital discharge.
* Encourage customers to be independent in daily activities, including personal care and exercise.
* Liaise with family members as required and respect customers right to dignity and privacy.
* Comply with Safeguarding policies and behaviors and attend all relevant training to improve skills and understanding.
* Have a driving license and access to a vehicle, as the role is based in the community.
Key Skills & Requirements
* The Audley Academy will support new care staff with a full induction program and care certificate completion.
* Audley will fund the QCF level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care.
* Good written and oral English skills, ability to use company mobile and app, and accurately complete electronic daily logs.
* Good knowledge of the local area, personal presentation, and hygiene to a high standard.
* Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively and be adaptable to meet different customer requirements.
